📺 Complete Twitch Drops Guide

Step 1: Link Your Accounts

  1. Go to Twitch Account Connections
  2. Find "Electronic Arts" in the connections list
  3. Click "Connect" and sign in to your EA Account
  4. Verify the connection is successful (green checkmark)

Important: This step must be completed BEFORE watching streams, or drops won't register!

Step 2: Find Eligible Streams

  1. Visit BF6 on Twitch
  2. Look for "Drops Enabled" tag on stream thumbnails
  3. Popular streamers: shroud, TimTheTatman, DrDisrespect, NICKMERCS
  4. Official EA/Battlefield channels also count

Pro Tip: You can mute the tab and do other things while earning drops!

Step 3: Watch and Claim

  1. Watch any eligible stream for 30 continuous minutes
  2. Check your Twitch notifications for drop availability
  3. Go to Twitch Drops Inventory
  4. Click "Claim" on your BF6 Early Access drop

Timing: Drops are only available during active campaign periods (August 7-8, 2025)

Step 4: Redeem Your Code

  1. Visit EA Code Redemption
  2. Sign in to your EA Account
  3. Enter the code from your Twitch inventory
  4. Select your preferred platform (PC, PS5, Xbox)
  5. Confirm redemption and download Beta client

Common Issue: If you see "Base game required" error, ignore it and continue - this is normal for Beta codes!

I missed the Battlefield Labs deadline. Can I still get early access?

Yes! You can still get early access through EA Play Pro subscription or Twitch Drops. EA Play Pro gives instant access, while Twitch Drops require watching streams for 30 minutes.

Do I need to preorder the game to play the Beta?

No! Unlike previous Battlefield games, BF6 Beta does not require preordering. The Open Beta weekends (August 9-11 and 14-17) are free for everyone.

Can I use my early access code on multiple platforms?

Early access codes are tied to your EA Account, not specific platforms. Once redeemed, you can download the Beta on any platform linked to your EA Account (PC, PS5, Xbox).

How long is the early access period?

Early access runs from August 7th at 8:00 UTC through August 8th at 23:59 UTC. That's approximately 40 hours of exclusive access before the Open Beta begins.

What if my Twitch drop doesn't appear?

First, ensure your Twitch and EA accounts are properly linked. Drops can take up to 24 hours to appear. If still missing, contact Twitch Support or try watching another eligible stream for the full duration.

Will my early access progress carry over to the full game?

No, Beta progress (levels, stats, unlocks) will not carry over to the full game. However, exclusive Beta rewards and Twitch Drops cosmetics will be available in your account at launch.
