Steam Installation
- Open Steam and ensure you're logged into your account
- Search for "Battlefield 6 Open Beta" in the Steam Store
- Click "Install" (it's free - no purchase required)
- Choose installation drive with at least 75GB free space
- Wait for download to complete (preload starts August 4th)
- Launch when Beta goes live (August 7th early access or August 9th open)
Steam Advantage: Steam version automatically links to your EA Account in the background. No additional EA App installation required!
EA App Installation
- Download EA App from ea.com/ea-app if not already installed
- Sign in to your EA Account
- Search for "Battlefield 6 Beta" in the EA App
- Click "Download" to add to your library
- Select installation location and begin download
- Link platform accounts if you want cross-platform progress
Epic Games Store Installation
- Open Epic Games Launcher and sign in to your account
- Browse to the Store and search for "Battlefield 6 Beta"
- Click "Get" to add the free Beta to your library
- Install to your preferred drive with 75GB+ space
- Install EA App when prompted (required for Epic version)
- Link EA Account through EA App for Beta access
Epic Games Note: Epic version requires EA App to be installed and running. Make sure to link your Epic and EA accounts for seamless access.
PlayStation 5 Installation Guide
Requirements

PlayStation Plus Required: Unlike some free-to-play games, BF6 Beta requires an active PS+ subscription for online multiplayer access.
Installation Steps
- Turn on your PS5 and ensure you're connected to the internet
- Go to the PlayStation Store from the main menu
- Search for "Battlefield 6 Open Beta" or "BF6 Beta"
- Select the Beta from search results (should show as Free)
- Click "Download" to add to your library and begin installation
- Wait for installation to complete (~62GB download)
- Launch from Game Library when Beta period begins

Early Access for PS5
- Obtain early access code via Twitch Drops or EA Play Pro
- Visit EA's Code Redemption page on your phone/computer
- Sign in to the same EA Account linked to your PlayStation
- Enter your code and select "PlayStation 5" as platform
- Confirm redemption and check your PS5 library
- Download from library if not already installed
Xbox Series X|S Installation Guide

Installation Steps
- Power on your Xbox and ensure internet connection
- Navigate to Microsoft Store from the home screen
- Search for "Battlefield 6 Open Beta"
- Select the Beta from search results
- Click "Install" (free download)
- Choose storage location (internal SSD recommended for best performance)
- Let download complete (~63GB with Smart Delivery optimization)
- Launch from "My games & apps" when Beta begins
